I was delighted when Sarah and Matt asked me to shoot their wedding down at Mt Hotham in the Victorian Alps. If you know me, you know I adore mountains and unique landscapes. I was super grateful for the opportunity to shoot this unique and memorable wedding. Sarah and Matt now live in Melbourne and go up to Hotham often to ski so it made sense for the wedding to be there. Absolute legends when it came to getting photos, they didn’t let the rain worry them and they even clambered over slippery rocks into the middle of a stream for photos (Sarah with white heels on). Their trusty Nissan Patrol that has taken them on many epic adventures took us down a ski run into a gorgeous valley and also provided an awning shelter from the rain. Every aspect of their wedding day reflected who they are so perfectly and I absolutely love that! That’s how weddings should be.
